Role Sustained Attack Damage
Playstyle This build focuses on farming at the start. Stepping into the jungle to kill a neutral camp and then going back into lane will be key in order to buy items quickly. As the game progresses, jungling will provide gold and make the enemy unaware of where you might pop out to land a Manacle. Always look for moments when the enemy is out of position to kill Baldir.
Activate: deal 1.2x attack damage to a non-hero unit.
+250 Health
Activate: remove all stuns/slows and provide 50% stun/slow reduction for 2 seconds.
+10 Resistance
Grants a 20% chance to deal 2x the damage on an attack.
Attacks apply 20% movement slow to target. Lasts 2.0 seconds.
Slow is less powerful for ranged attackers.
Activate: slow nearby enemies and deal 65 Magic damage to them.
Activate: gain 80 Resistance for 8 seconds.
Razer
Razer will allow Shank to go toe to toe with many other heroes. Also Into the Shadows will provide you sneaky ways to land Manacle on the enemy.
Role Tank, Ganker, Initiator
Playstyle This build focuses on different ways to engage favorable fights for your team. While you will be strong alone, this build truly shines when you're ganking or fighting with your allies. When played well, this build will dominate the map and offer opportunities for your team to get ahead in Gold income, and transition into an imposing force in late-game team fights. Start the lane passively, and look to get aggressive in lane and in ganks at level 6 with Manacle.
Activate: dash forward 525 units.
+95 Mana
Passively deals 25 Magic damage/sec to enemies in a 500 radius.
+5 Health Regen
20% of Magic damage is healed back over time.
Provides Power equal to 0.90% of your Max Health.
Pincer
Pincer's Retaliate helps Shank against lane harassment, which he is very susceptible to. The bonus armor boosts survivability, while Breakout will ensure that you always have an opportunity to initiate.
Role Initiation, Slower
Playstyle This build focuses on roaming around looking for places to be useful with your slows. Maxing Jailbreak earlier will work well with Windrush and Everwinter. Look to Hexbane their main sources of damage while hooking and slowing to initiate.
Activate: dash forward 525 units.
Activate: provide 100 Movement Speed to nearby allies for a 4 seconds.
+95 Mana
Activate: slow nearby enemies and deal 65 Magic damage to them.
Attacks apply 20% movement slow to target. Lasts 2.0 seconds.
Slow is less powerful for ranged attackers.
Transfigured enemies cannot attack or use abilities.
+10 Resistance
Fitz is great for finishing off targets just out of reach as well as giving vision after you slow them. Roaming is faster and the extra Bounty will be valuable as you will be farming brawlers less.

Shank Lore
Shank was a lone soul. Roving the hills of Strife, he slowly grew insane. Because of his lunatic outbursts and insane behavior, he began to grow troublesome to the four cities of Strife, and many times they attempted to imprison him. But he somehow forged a magic key (some say through supernatural insights afforded to him by his own insanity) and always escaped from his captors. He converted his prison shackle ball into a crude ally, naming it "Clunk," and went on further rampages. Shank used his magic key to enter through the gates of the Strife Arena and now fights in the trials. Apparently because he has very little else to do.
