What is the Point of Strife? How do I win?
In Strife, you achieve victory by destroying the enemy team's Crux. Destroy anything that stands in your way, whether it's Brawlers, Towers, or enemy players. It sounds simple, but there are many factors that separate winning and losing. Your decisions and skill will determine the outcome!
A Game of Resources
At its core, Strife is a game of resources. It is all about being able to collect resources and progress more quickly as a team than your opponents.
By collecting more resources and progressing more quickly, your team will gain a significant advantage in the RPG elements of Strife. Basically, it's a race to get stronger than your opponents so you can kick their butts and destroy their Crux.
Tip
A big part of progressing efficiently is to make sure you're always doing something that earns resources for your team, whether it's farming Brawlers, pushing lanes, or pursuing map objectives. Minimize your downtime!
Tip
While collecting more resources for yourself is usually beneficial for your team, keep the big picture in mind. Will your team as a whole benefit more if you sacrificed a bit personally to help your teammates?
Enter the Hero
In Strife, you will assume control of a powerful hero. Each hero is uniquely designed to embody a playstyle or idea, and heroes are by far the most important aspect of any game of Strife. As a hero, you will decide how the game flows, how quickly it progresses, and whether the outcome is favorable for your team.
